Logbook

At Stutz Cabins, one of our most beloved traditions is the family Logbook. Holding decades of memories, the Logbook is the story of countless trips to our Heimatfels, or Homeland on the Rocks.

Here you’ll see additional photos of the cabins, Estes Park, and the surrounding areas.

In the summer of 2024, we were so lucky to see large mammals! Right on the property, we saw at least 2 bears (with the game camera) but once in the early evening walking along the fence line above the Coach house.
Janaki came face to face with a moose on the trail -she had to scramble to the side and let the moose go by. It wasn't going to stop!

On August 24th, 2024 Hannah and I got married in the meadow with 20 of our closest loved ones. It was a beautiful day. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect and special location to us.

With Longs Peak and the Rockies overseeing the ceremony, we were treated to a colorful sunset and lovely crisp air. Dinner was set on the House patio with string lights illuminating the tables, food and driveway turned dance floor. Fortunately, no visits from Yogi the bear looking for our pies!

We stayed with our families for the following week, exploring RMNP, painting, and playing games. They too, fell in love with Stutz-Heimatfels and could feel its decades of warm memories. Another wonderful visit โ€” this one was the most special yet!
